Berticus Heads North - Day 8 - Zombie Dungeon Shelter?
Zombies are attacking my shelter, but soon burn up. I bump the difficulty up hard and head further North where I stumble upon a zombie dungeon. I clear out the zombies, but it turns dark, I must spend the night in the dungeon.

Berticus Heads North - Day 7 - Skeleton on Fire
I have survived the first week of my journey! My nightly digging drops me into a cave with a stranded cow and a plethora of iron. I attempt to help the cow to safety, but must battle a skeleton first. When I go back for the cow he has disappeared.

Sorry had to quiet my dogs halfway through the video! I explore the landscape as I move on, find more iron and battle a zombie. I hole up for the night under a large overhang, hope that was a smart move...

I explore a deep hole and find a creeper, but when I go back he has disappeared... black magic? I explore more caverns and finally find some iron, but it gets dark before I can make my shelter and I have to scramble.

Berticus Heads North - Day 2 - Zombie Dungeon
I continue North and happen upon a zombie dungeon. Will I survive or fall to the horde of zombies? Watch and find out!
Berticus Heads North - Day 1
I start my journey to the North to see what awaits me. I collect my basic supplies and explore the landscape before holing up for the long dark night.
Berticus Heads North
I have begun a new journey and taken on the life of the explorer. Each day I will adventure further to the North, explore caves and formations, and create a new shelter from the dark night.
The adventure North will continue until I reach my untimely demise...
Motivation: I started a video tutorial a couple of weeks ago called Berticus Minecraft Adventure, but a lot of people think there are too many "Learn to Play" Minecraft videos already, so I wanted to try something different.
Style: I will treat this series like a video journal. I won't be explaining how to do things, but instead I will explain why I am doing things and what is going through my head as I explore.
Quality: All videos will be available in 720p HD on YouTube. I use 1280x720 resolution with 30 fps and mp3 sound. Videos will be unedited with live commentary. Some chopping may occur if I run into the 15 minute YouTube limit.
Updates: I typically play during my lunch break so updates will be almost daily Monday-Friday.

Episode 008 - I burn my trees down, make some ladders and decide to dig straight down into the earth to find diamond. I try to mine at the bedrock level, but keep running into lava so I move up 10 levels and start forming tunnels.

"Berticus Heads North" Video Idea, Need Feedback
I had an idea that I would start a new video adventure called "Berticus Heads North". In this video series I would start out with nothing and well... head North and I would record my adventure like a video journal. I would explore caves and the environment during the day and create a new shelter every night. I wouldn't take time to explain how to play minecraft, I would just describe what I am doing and why. The journey would continue until I reach my untimely demise.
I need some feedback to help me make my decision. I am sure I will get a mixed reaction, but that's to be expected, as long as some people are interested in the idea I will probably go forward with it.

Episode 006 - I show off my new Igloo in the Sky Fort and then make a sad attempt to obtain some string. My mineshaft finally pays off and I collect over 20 iron veins.

Episode 004 - Time to plant some trees in my fort for an endless supply of wood. I have constructed a better staircase, but I don't like jumping. A short trip to the beach to get some sand to make glass and an unsuccessful attempt to find cows for armor.
